Analytics and Notifications

We use Google Analytics and Firebase, provided by Google, to understand how our website and app are used so we can improve them.

  • On the website: the pages you visit, the buttons you click (such as the App Store and Google Play download buttons), the campaign link you arrived from, your approximate location, and your device and browser type.
  • In the app: the actions you take (for example creating a home, sharing an invitation, or creating a task), your app language, app version, device type and operating system, and an internal user ID. This data does not include your name, email address, or the content of your tasks, messages, or photos.
  • Push notifications: we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you notifications such as task updates and invitations. This uses a device token that identifies your device for notifications.

You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings. On the website, you can limit analytics through your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out tools.
